New Costumes

Seeing as we are completely remaking our music video we decided to go with a change of style. The narrative is a young man  who comes home from work one day and goes upstairs to find his wife cheating. We thought that a suit would be the appropriate costume for Henry to wear because of the portrayal of his character. We simply got a blazer, white shirt, trousers and a tie for this costume. We did not need shoes as they were not going to be visible in the shot. The other costume we thought that we would use is suit shirt and trousers but with a beige coat over the top. The reason for this is that because Henry is leaving the house for what he has seen, he should not go back out with a suit. So, for this we decided to add a series of shots to show Henry picking up and item of clothing and putting it on. This worked very well in the post production.

Entire Re-shoot

Due to recent events we have decided to re-shoot and edit our entire music video again. We felt that the previous video was not up to the expectations of our teachers or previous work in this subject. One top of this we have decided to remake the ancillary tasks as well so that these can also support a higher grade. All of this will need to be done in a week and a half which is a short amount of time but doable. We have also decided on a new narrative. This time it will be about the main singer. He will come home from work and hear something going on upstairs, he then goes on and follows the noises and sees through the creek of the door, his wife being unfaithful with another man. He bursts through the door and shouts and will storm out of the house and the wife hears these actions and runs out shouting and trying to make him come back. He then travels through the streets getting drunk. We were thinking that the performance would be on a different part too the narrative. What i mean by this is that no matter what is happening in the narrative the band will continue playing no matter what. What people might be worried about is the symbolism of Oasis and how it will be affected of them being more "cool". Even though this is an emotional story, he does regain his dignity at the end by meeting someone new which means that they are living up to the bands standards. The performance of this will be me, instead of the main singer. This is a good idea because it will give Henry a chance to film and use the camera.
